Day 1. Cusco – Upis bajo – Upis Hot Springs

We deapart Cusco by 5am for a journey of 3 hours to the trail head at Upis bajo, here we will meet tour Llameros or llama riders, our adventure starts with gradual up hill in the direction of Ausangate mount through Llama and Alpaca herds. We would considere this part of the hike gente but because the elevation can be chalening for many of our guest, you should be aorried about i tour passionate guides will be there for you to encorage you every step to make it to camp with total happiness.

One making to camp you have the tiem to enjoy the views and also you will have the chance to jump in the hot springs while you watch the sun set over the mountains

Day 2. Upis – Arapa pass – Puka cocha

Waking up with our style coffee or coca tea in your tent followed by a belicious breakfast, what a way to start the day, we will the start our trek towards the first pass called Arapa that was once and it is still for our Quechua people considered a sacred spot, here we will do a small ceremony to the mountains as our anscestor did especially when we will pretty closet o teh most sacred mountain for the Incas – The Ausangate mountain. After this nice momento we head down to lunch spot next to a beautiful spot right next to Yancocha lake. After our lunch with its propper nap we will continue our journey to the next camp at Puka cocha that is located righ down at the bottom of Ausangate mountain an espectacular place to spend the night.

Day 3. Puka Cocha – Auqui

You will be wake up by our cooks with a nice cup of coffee or tea in the tents followed by a nutritious breakfast to makes us ready for the day, after packing our Llamas we will start hiking up on steep switchback trail towards the second pass where we will find a big pile of stones made by the Incas long ago called Apacheta as marking along the trails, also it offer us more snow capped mountains, red mountains, glassy lands and perhads the wild Vicuñas (Similar to Llamas but wild) after a good rest here we start decending do camp for couple hours where our lunch awaits for us also it is the place wehre spend the night meaning that we wil have the rest of the afternnon free to relax, or explore the área.

Day 4. Auqui – Rainbow Mountains – Cusco

Very early morning hike to the next pass for about 1.5 hours from where we will be able to spot the Rainbow mountain in the distance as well as red mountains and more herd of Llamas, we will be arriving to Vinicunca or the rainbow mountain by 10 am, once there we will have enough time to enjoy this espectacular beauty of nature and we will even have the time to see the other valley with red hills.

After all the time we spend herewe head down to lunch spot to mee tour cooks, it is the last time we see our Llamas and our llameros. From here we catch our van back to Cusco.
